Dean Linda McCauley to retire from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing

After 16 years of visionary leadership, Linda A. McCauley will retire as dean of the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, effective Dec. 31, 2025. Under her guidance, the school rose to No. 1 in the nation, expanded academic programs, forged critical partnerships and tripled student enrollment. She will continue her groundbreaking research and national health care work as a School of Nursing faculty member.
